On 20 March 2008 , the seminar on “Biosafety” was held at the National Security Study Centre (NSSC). The seminar was delivered by the biosecurity expert, PhD – Nona Tadumadze. Biologists, young politicians, public officials, the representatives of the non-governmental organizations and other interested people took part in seminar. The following issues were discussed at the seminar: the Biotecnological innovations, gene modified organisms and product, the biotechnological risk assessment and management problems.
