On 13 March 2008 the seminar on “Infective disease as a biological warfare” was held at the National Security Study Centre (NSSC). The seminar was delivered by the biosacurity expert, PhD – Nona Tadumadze. Biologistas, physicians, young politicians, government employee,   the non-governmental organization and mas media representatives, students and other interested people took part in seminar. The following issues were discussed at the seminar: the infective diseaseses   history and classification, the bacteriological warfare: Plague, Anthrax, Cholera, Typhus, Brucellosis, Tularemia, Q-fever - symptoms, diagnosis, treatment and prevention.
